Luke Feldman: ONE Night Only @ Rotofugi & then some

Our boy Luke Feldman is going to be having a one night only gig in Chicago at Rotofugi on Wed. Dec. 10. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and watch Luke do his thing. I've witnessed it briefly at Wondercon and it's pretty friggin' amazing (see)!

Can't make it? Me too, but no worries. Luke's got other things up his sleeves to keep the rest of us entertained. 

Recently he's created a piece based on Maurice Sendak's "Where the Wild Things Are." This is available at Culver City's Wonderful World of Animation Art Gallery for $400 -- clearly, for those who are collectors with beaucoup bucks to spare. 

*sigh* Must be nice.

Now for something on the affordable side. The lovely Ester is now immortalized on her own skate deck. Pick one up for $65 at Pop Art Skate Boards. See, $65 isn't that scary. Right? Mmm hmm.

Clingy Chicks

Luke Feldman (remember, our homeskillet from Comic Con and WonderCon?) kindly let us know that he debuted a few prototypes of his life-size vinyl adhesive ladies and fairies at his "sell-out" Melbourne show at Paper Shadow Gallery last month.

Luke Feldman joins the Madness & heads to SD!

Our pal, Luke Feldman got in touch with us to let us know that he too will be heading to the San Diego Comic Con this year. Remember his work from the Pop Cling Show?

He will be presenting an animation short entitled, "Who Saved the Moon" on Thursday July 26 in room 26AB. A preview of Who Saved the Moon can be views on his site.

Here's a snapshot from it...don't worry folks, it looks like this story has a happy ending.

Luke will also be at Urban Underground Vinyl Toy Network Show in San Diego, July 27th and 28th where he will be debuting a vinyl prototype of Mai, one of his gorgeous gals.

VTN: Coming to San Diego

Whew...ANOTHER event to write down on your calendar...

This year, San Diego will be even more crazier during July 26 - 29!

Not only do we have our Annual Comic Con -- so funny that newbies are so proper and call it "CCI." helloooo..its "the CON" ;)

but this year we will be welcoming the Vinyl Toy Network to our beautiful city!

We were was able to attend their Spring Show in Pasadena. The small and intimate show worked out great and allowed plenty of time and opportunities to meet different artists and vendors and even was a great place to shop.

Some artists, you may remember us featuring, who will be at the show are: Luke Feldman, Christopher Lee, Brian Castleforte. List of other artists that will be attending can be seen here.

What's great about this show is that it is FREE to attend and has a FREE shuttle service to the show on Harbor Drive, in front of the Hyatt, which is a hop, skip and a jump from the San Diego Convention Center which is hosting the Comic Con at the same time!

Cameron Tiede's mobile is wonderful for a kid's bedroom or play area or a big kid's office space! Aren't they the friendliest monsters and sea creatures you've ever seen? Those are the kind of (lovable) monsters I wouldn't mind finding hiding under my bed!

Luke Feldman's harem of hunnies are gorgeous. Luke was there to sign a deck Murse1 purchased at the show. Nice fellow. Don't 'cha wish your deck was hot like his?

Zeptonn's wild zoo was a delight to just stare at. So much going on! And I love how the vinyl art framed their sly decks.

Jeremyville's rock out characters had great messages to pass on =)


Josh Ellingson's "Laughing Squid" is another piece that just makes me smile.


Jessica Lopez, a.k.a. Uncommon Industries' Cutsie Penguin just makes u wanna sigh, aww...

Vinyl application has been getting popular these days. Wallpaper is also making a comeback, but it looks like the Vinyl Graphics aka Wall Decals are winning more people over due to its easy application. And don't let them restrict you to just your walls. Try them on your floors, ceiling, furniture, mirrors, drinking glasses...practically anywhere that needs embellishment. Peel, stick, and taa daa...a masterpiece! (but watch out if this isn't a permanent decor statement: different pieces have different adhesive strengths.)
