Stella McCartney for LeSportsac

LeSportsac has done it again!

"Done what?" you might be asking.

They've teamed up with a super awesome designer and are releasing a fantastically fabulous line of bags and accessories!

This time around, Stella McCartney was behind the drawing board. An array of flowers and stars adorn her pastel colored bags as well as solid greys. Her spring/summer collection will be released soon.

Can't wait for it to hit your local department store and boutiques? No problem! The whole line can be viewed on the LeSportsac website and is available for pre-orders.

I'm absolutely loving the little bunny keychains that go with the bags and there's even a bunny shaped backpack (shown above, $120).

Of course the tote I want is $325 . . . I shall be left drooling.

Simone makes house calls!

Didya catch Sunday's Extreme Makeover Home Edition?
Our friend, Simone Legno, helped out the Extreme Makeover crew and created the coolest room ever. Ok, so i'm biased =P

Simone, along with the crew of Extreme Makeover Home Edition, came out to help the O'Donnell Family. Five out of their six children have multiple forms of autism that range from simple communication limitations to severe physical and social problems. The mother stays at home while the father works two jobs to keep the family (barely) afloat. Before the Extreme Makeover Crew came, the O'Donnell's had thirty days left until foreclosure. =/

Simone created a greek themed, tokidoki-esque room for one of the girls. Doesn't Simone's version of Medusa look fierce!? And oh, the cute Centaur! They also threw in some tokidoki swag for the lucky little girl to enjoy! Yay! =)

Seen in the pillar book shelf: Mozzarella, Sabochan, Sandy vinyl figures, and a LeSportsac Bambino Mini Bag (was she given a brand new print???)

thanks to reader, Kimboy, for the heads up =)

Fafi vs. LeSportsac: Tre chic!

Bagasm: [bag-az-im] When one suddenly experiences overwhelming happiness, sheer joy, and a "warm fuzzy" feeling in the presence of, or engages in physical contact with, a well-made, freakishly cute or beautiful bag, purse, tote, clutch, bagette, or any other fashionable accessory which one can carry and put personal belongings into. Size does not matter.

Now that we are all aware of what a bagasm is, it's safe for me to say I nearly had multiple ones when I heard that French graffiti artist Fafi was going to collaborate with LeSportsac for their Artist Series collection over a year ago. And thank the Fashion Gods, the wait is over!

The colorful print Fafi designed tells the story of a girl "who was looking for the magic in her life and discovers the tree that blooms LeSportsac bags." A tree that blooms bags? Oh how I wish it were so!

Fafi for LeSportsac accessories, handbags, totes, and travel pieces can be found at Urban Outfitters, Metropark, department stores like Macy*s and Nordstrom, and online at Karmaloop and the LeSportsac site.

I used my Small Travel Tote on Monday and as I was walking to class, some random guy said, "Oh, your bag is dope!" Plus my boyfriend has said that it's very "sparkly and colorful." And cute!
It's got the testosterone stamp of approval, ladies. Now go bat your eyelashes at your fellas ;)
